Post by bradders » Mon 26 Jun , 2006 14:21 pm

Using Techsoft V2 with Denford Machines + VR Milling Ver 5

Version 2 Techsoft does not now support Denford machines from the File > Plot menu
How do we machine from this new version ?

You do not need DENFORD TECHSOFT EXTENSIONS when you are running VR Milling ver 5 with your machine. Just export your design from Techsoft as a DXF file and import it into VR Milling ver 5

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

From VR Milling 5 (the machine control software), you can import any DXF or most DWG files directly into the CAM wizard. Select the shapes you want to use and create toolpaths with them

- this will then create the CNC gcode program straight from the drawing.
Easy
