415v triac

Post by jim the fish » Fri 19 Oct , 2007 17:00 pm

Hi I have purchased a triac which is 415v 3 phase. It comes with all the transformers etc, can I run it on 240v without the box of electrics or will I have to buy a 3 phase converter to run it off a 240 volt household supply.

Is it a true Fanuc control?
What drives/motors are fitted.

I guess the spindle drive will need a 3 phase supply so it will be easier to purchase a phase inverter.

Cheers Martin, I thought it would cost me more dosh, its a true fanuc control and the motor drive characteristics are different from the 240v version. So it looks like a digital phase converter, any prefered type.
