What are the advantages of upgrading to VR Milling 5 ?

VR Milling 5 USB upgrade will give you :-


1. Latest Denford software
2. 40% increase in cutting performance (Routers only)
3. Better VR Graphics (When simulating in 2 and 3 D)
4. PCB software is in built
5. USB connection
6. Can import dxf files

Two major advantages to note are that PCB Gerber and DWG or DXF files can be loaded directly, and an offset toolpath created quickly and easily.

NB, the document says V5 can buffer 50 move blocks, but it is actually 250 moves, meaning that combined with the USB connection, the card is never 'starved' of data when creating 3D prototypes and picture lithophanes quickly. This results in smooth, stall-free running of the steppers at high speed.

IVAC is a feature added in VRMilling version 5 and it's explained here:
