Wanted: PCB Engraver

Post by Count Triacula » Tue 11 May , 2021 16:17 pm

Hello

Does anyone have a PCB Engraver for sale? I recently bought one on Ebay for £800 but then the seller cancelled the order and refunded the money, leaving me without the machine. If anyone has one surplus to requirements, for a reasonable price, (it doesn't have to be £800 which I think was a bargain) I would be very interested in hearing from you.
Thanks

Might want to look at the cheap Chinese "cnc routers" I'm not sure they are really strong enough to do much more than PCB engraving, but should be totally fine for that. I guess it depends what PCB size you really need. My buddy has one like this:

It works okay, but you gotta remember that these are not ridged in the slightest, and any tool pressure will deform the frame as it cuts. engraving should be just fine though.

The PCB has a floating head which takes into account a surface not being flat.
