Hi, I have recently acquired a Denford Viceroy synchro and I am looking for a couple of parts for it:
1. A thread dial indicator, mine is a metric lathe of 1982 vintage
2. A fixed steady, I would settle for a photo of one with some rough dimensions so I could butcher, I mean modify a donor part to suit
Thanks in advance

Re: WANTED parts for Denford Viceroy 280 synchro
Hello,
Are you still looking for fixed steady information? I have both a fixed and moving steady for a viceroy TDS manual lathe that I could photo and provide dimensions if that is any help. You're welcome to visit if you are near to view the steadies.
Just PM with your request. Please note the steadies I have are not for sale.
Kindest regards, John R.

I recall seeing here that some metric threading dial parts were still available. I expect that it might be easier to make one than find one for sale.
John - please do post some dimensioned pics. I have a mind to make one for myself.
Pete.
