EPS files with QuickCam 2D Design

Post by bradders » Mon 11 Aug , 2008 9:09 am

I have tried to import EPS files in to QuickCam 2D Design . I can see now that they are importing to the Quickcam but they only appear as a single line and it does not matter how far you zoom in.

Administrator says :-

The problem is that the objects within the file are not made up of Vectors – they are bitmap images only.
The EPS import was a made to pull out basic Vector data only – an .eps file is capable of storing all kinds of information and it would take a huge amount of resource for us to support all the options available in the PostScript language.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

In other words - QuickCAM 2D will not read images from an EPS file - only lines, curves and arcs
