Fixed v5.13 so that it wont cause an exception - it now continues to check all methods of comms (USB and COM ports) and will show an appropriate message if no machine was found.

I'm pretty sure the Y home switch is a proxy on those Triacs
It sounds like the switch is ON (sensing) all the time if the axis travels the wrong way when starting to home.
For the age, I would guess at a faulty proxy switch, or broken wire under the table.

It costs about £36, and is a very well built device - USB-2COM-M

I don't have access to electrical/mech drawings at the mo, but it sounds like the locking plunger is stuck or out of position.
Could try to remove door plunger (two screws) to see if it can be worked free.

Sorry, you can't run the new cards without the VR Milling software.

Half of the clever stuff is done in the software and half on the card - we have spent a lot of time developing and testing the USB card with our software to get the best performance.

Found that on a restricted PC, if you have installed the USB driver correctly under administrator, but then connect the USB cable into a different port, Windows will lose the driver - it sees the device as being new again, being a restricted user will not then let the device load onto the new port. ...

Just added a couple more machines to choose from, and enabled Routers to be selected.

Boxford post output also checked and tested - working OK !
Boxford post is a .BOX file which you need to import and convert it into a GMM file
