Are you able to check that you have 240 volts going to the spindle drive unit?
Does it have the Brown Prestell Spindle Controller?

Re: Mystery Machine Microrouter V3
It has had a different spindle motor fitted & also the electronics are not the original that we would have fitted.
I guess somebody on the Forum will be able to identify what make of control it is now.

Re: PCB engraver nextmove programming
The PCB Engraver was never added to EasyUgrader & the PCB software does not look for it so no it does not need to be programmed.
You can put the machine serial number in if you want but it`s not required to run.

It is possible to do rigid tapping on a TU150 fitted with an OT-A control.
We only fitted spindle speed encoder & not a position encoder.

Can you post a copy of the program please.
It sounds like it will be due to the depth of cut with the second pass slightly deeper.

Re: Issue with old Novamill and VR Milling 5
It may be down to the internal RS 232 lead.
It would be best to make up a 9 way to 9 way lead to connect the machine directly to the computer.

Re: Spindle control
What machine do you have?
I am not aware of the 6000 Diagnostics.
Have you set Diagnostic 453 bit 0 to 1?

Re: Triac vmc draw bar
You will need to adjust the tension as per the attached link with a tool in the spindle.

Re: Novaturn. M4 comand??
Hi David
The spindle reverse was never an option on the Novaturn.
The M3 & M4 commands will both run the same way.

Re: Z issues
I presumed you still had the original control fitted.
I would look at keeping the axis drive signals as far away form the spindle drive & spindle motor wires as possible.

Re: Z issues
Can you post a picture of the inside of the electrical cabinet. I presume its a rack mounted control & drive fitted.

We are in Brighouse, HD6 1QF

Re: Interlock is tripping.
It would be unusual for the E-Stop switch to short out.
Do you have a electrical meter you can use to test the 24Volts DC supply & see if it is being dragged down?

Re: Interlock is tripping.
It does look like the 24volts DC is being shorted out by something.
With it being updated to Nach 3 I am not sure where to suggest to proceed.
Did you upgrade the machine yourself?

Re: Interlock is tripping.
Yes if it is the coil causing the issue.
It could also be the zero speed output from the spindle drive.
Se how you get on.
