. For what machine??? Mill?? Turn?? There are a lot of Post Processors in FeatureCAM !!!!!! If you are having problems with yours then it may just need editing, I don`t know of any Post Processors that are 100% spot on, most are close to the exact machine you have but usually need a "tweak" or two!!...

My 2 cents worth!! All the CNC machines I have owned/own that have a battery on a board it is usually needed to hold the NC Parameters on the machine, the Denford machines I have owned/own do have EPROMs with the Denford software on and aren`t affected whether the battery is there or not as the info...

Re: 1991 Denford Triac taper.

Can anyone tell me if the 1991 Triac with the tool changer is BT30 taper or if not what taper it is? Thanks in advance, Charles Not 100% sure but I seem to remember that the 6 position ATC was BT35 and the 8 position ATC was BT30. Regards Rob

The error happens with or without cutting the part and on different areas on the leadscrew, but only every now and then. I did think about changing all the G0 to G1, but it was getting late the other night and theirs 200 lines to sort through, but will try that out later. Apparently the machine had...

But it seems to jump, when the tool is just about to rapid to the start of the next facing pass from a safe clearance postion from the last pass. would what you suggested still effect this movement? Adee What does your code look like?? Have you tried running at the cuttin...

Re: Easiturn3 X axis cross slide miss positioning.

Im ...

Thanks for your help. The machine now does something. Next problem!!! When I home the machine the x axis does not read zero! The z axis does read zero and I have cleared all tool offsets and work shift offsets. X did read abot 155mm with a work shift of about 11mm. When I cleared the work shift bac...

. If holding down the "Axis Override Button" doesn`t work then the machine had gone too far and over travelled the physical limit switches, to get it back you can switch everything off from the mains and remove the inspection panel/s and then manually wind the X and Z axis away from the limit switch...

They seem to work ok at lower baudrates (eg 9600) but we have had no end of problems with the more recent controls which ran at 57600 baud. To be fair I am only running at 4800 baud rate, lathe, so the programs aren`t very big so not an issue for me!!

. Hello "techy" I agree with Triac Whizz, most likely a sensor/switch issue, I have had this problem occasionally with CNC machines over the years and it is usually the sensor/switch at the "Home" ( X plus in your case ) position being faulty or simply stuck in the position it would be if the machin...

. If it is using standard G codes then it is usually the tool number followed by the offset number and then the M06, for example this is what I have in my Cyclone for tool 1 (In station 1 on turret) using offset 1 in offset library. T0101M06 The first 2 digits (01 etc) tells the control which turret...

. I noticed in your code there is no G90 or G91 for Absolute or Incremental movement, possible the machine control is defaulted to Absolute (Most are!!) so you may not need it in but check in you manual. If it is on default to G90 (Absolute) then your code will take the tool post/turret to 20mm from...
