Have fitted homing /limit switches, Spindle works fine controlled by the software, Steppers are fine and work well. HOWEVER I am trying to get the old twin output encoder to work. I understand the ...

Upgrading Starturn 4 to NextStep card to run VRTurning, Help
I have a very nice (almost new) but old Starturn 4. As with most Denford kit the quality of mechanical bits is great and rather than upgrade electronics to Mach (not a fan) and as I have a spare Nextstep board and top card & Sprint 400 Spindle control I thought it a good idea to upgrade to this as I...

Re: Micromill 2000 Denstep LED stuck on flasing dot L ??
Hi
All sorted now, I had tried two cables that work fine on Router and Novamill but NOT on this Micromill
after some swapping and fiddling with cables got one that works ok.
How many different ways can you connect a 9pin-25pin from the card to the output panel!!
Ta for your time.

Re: Micromill 2000 Denstep LED stuck on flasing dot L ??
Hi
Running from VrmillingV2.3 and V5x both the same problem
The card has a ROM V2.0b10/s/b19-JD5 should this be OK or does it need V2.1 ROM?
I thought this Rom would be OK with V2.3.

Micromill 2000 Denstep LED stuck on flasing dot L ??
Hi
Micromill 2000 with denstep (2001) when switching on, board sets and LED stays with .L (flashing dot)
I think it should go to 8 (all Leds on) to show its ready to connect.
With the .L it can not make a serial connection.
Any Ideas On What this could be? Anyone!

Re: Microrouter V3 with Denstep via Serial port Vr Milling 2
Hi, Yes, tried at 120% and this does speed up each move or cut but its the slight delay between each gCode command as though it only sends a line at a time OR there is little or no buffering at the machine control. JCS

Re: Questions for Denford Support on BetaV1.8 - center drill
Hi
Is any one else out there using V1.8 of QuickTURN 2D Design?
Any one else have opinions on my questions above, especially about the use of the grooving tool and the lack of use of the Left Hand tools?
Am I doing something wrong?
