Re: Denford Mircrorouter V4 NS (2002) - RS232 cable Pinouts?

Here are the wires on the inside of the machine going into the RS232 plug. I'm even second guessing i have the Black wire and Shield in the correct place now as pin 1 goes to nowhere.

Re: Denford Mircrorouter V4 NS (2002) - RS232 Pinouts?

I found this on the V4 wiring diagrams but mine starts on pin one (you can see the solder on the pin) and i don't have a green wire. (I'm going to guess the green wire has been substitute for a white wire??) Also number 7 is definitely the ground on the 25 pin connector, confusing the diagram is sho...

Re: Denford Mircrorouter V4 NS - RS232 Pinouts?

So by looking at what tails were left on the plug I've put 2 wires back in their original places but now it's these 4 left, no chance of guessing which way they go. Does anyone have the correct pins outs?

Excuse the grubby fingers

Cheers

Denford Mircrorouter V4 NS (2002) - RS232 cable Pinouts?

Was moving the machine today and unfortunately the 25 pin side of the RS232 cable got caught and pulled the cables out the pins, does anyone know the correct pin outs before i try and guess?

(Please attached photos for colours and pins)

Help appreciated

HELP - MIRAC DM08 turret truth table

Hello

I am currently doing work on a recently purchased Mirac but my diode board is missing, does anyone have the truth table for the DM08 turret and does anyone know if the gray logic outputs are HIGH or LOW when active?

This would be a massive help to me.

Kind regards,
Tom

Re: Connection trouble shooting

Hi Martin

Thank you for getting back to me, that would explain it then.

I do have one of these cables lying around: https://www.lindy.co.uk/cables-adapters ... -p528/s670

Could i swap the pins over and use this maybe?

Connection trouble shooting

Hello I have a Denford MicroRouter and love it so picked up a MicroMill 2000 when one came up and this is where my problem lies. The router works perfectly but the Micromill will not connect. It is the legacy Denstep board and i am running VR milling version 5. The cable is from my Router which work...
