after my mach3 conversion the spindle became much weaker on my ORAC.
I dont have a cable like this. Can this be why?
Ive ordered a new 1hp inverter and motor, but untill I got this up and running it would be whery nice to fix the old.
Pictures where things are connected would help alot.

The cover on my vfd is missing so I took pictures on the numbers I found.
The top picture have the pin on 1,5kW, but I dont want to by an 2hp motor until Im sure.

Hi,
I retrofitted my orac -85 last year and it works fine with mach3. But I experience the spindle to be very weak now, and because the spindle stops and the z continue the top fuse on the (original) power supply burns. I cant findd how many A the fuse should be.

My questions are, if annyone else ...

I ´m almost finished with converting my ORAC. Only the turret is´nt finished. If you have questions I might help you. And cjmerlin here on the forum (he is also on the machsupport forum) helped me alot, so if you ask him he might help you too.

Hi, I dont have my multimeter here today, but The inputs are on the other side of the transformer. They are red, white and green/yellow. And 240v

Hi, I Made a big misstake when I disassembled my ORAC. I was sure that I didn't need this part, the PC1601 its the "rectifier board" for 24v and 12v. But now I know bether. =)
From my transformer I have two green cables, two yellow, one blue, one orange and on black.
Could it be possible it should ...

I think the plug has 8 pins. If I only could find the electrical schematic PC1965 maybe I could figure it out with the colours on the cables.

The resistors I bought for my geckos are 0,6w is this OK?

But is there anyone who can tell me you're setup? The settings for the microstep? All info are appreciated.
