Re: spindle shaft not true - FIXED
OK managed to sort it: On the top just left of the spindle is a small access panel - take this off and you'll see the spindle shaft. Below the shaft in the corners theres 4 socket/allen head bolts. Simply release these and you can move the head. The back ones however are a nightmare to access, but i...

Re: spindle shaft not true
Have you put a morse-taper test bar in the headstock and checked the alignment of headstock to bed? Yes - definitely out. I don't know the exact details of the Easiturns, but I believe they are based on the 280 manual lathes where the headstock is bolted to the bed and uses a tenon for location (th...

Cross slide limit switch replacement
Does anyone know the limit switch size for the cross slide? Looking to buy a replacement because it seems unreliable but don't know which one to order.

Head alignment?
Hi, does anyone know how to realign the spindle on the Denford Easiturn? I think I may need to unbolt the head and realign it.

Easiturn sensor on near rear switch?
The rear homing/limit switch is broken on my easiturn. Went to fix it and found a sensor near it. Can anyone tell me what it is and how it works?

Quickturn - basic questions.
I've enquired directly to Denford about the purchase of the Quickturn 2D software and got a price.... finally. I have an eaisturn 3. Couple of questions though: 1) What code does it produce? Does Denford have it's own version of g-code? The demo version great for simple shape definition but then is ...

Screened cable grounding - how to?
Hi, i am completing a mach3 conversion on an easiturn. All is going well and pretty self explanatory except the screened cable grounding. What is the best way of doing it? I know to ground only at one end (the electronics cabinet end) but ground to where? The chasis? Or the Gnd on the 12v power supp...

Trying to set my steppers up and don't know what the leadscrew pitches are for the easiturn3. Does anyone know what they are?

Re: Purchase?
I've tried those and as much as they are OK for simple stuff I was after a path application. The quickturn is perfect, it's a pity someone doesn't make something similar for lathes.

Re: Purchase?
It has been converted to spindle 4 and a uniport breakout board using existing steppers. Mach3 on XP. I have some new cnc4you nema34 steppers that I want to fit but the spindles are 12.7mm diameter, the existing steppers are approx 9.5mm diameter. Wondering what to do about that one.

Re: Purchase?
Thanks, I was just reading on another post that the Denford Quickturn doesn't do threading unless on recent denford machines. This makes £295 quite expensive for a single user who is still at college. Also with it not producing any g-code at all you cannot really determine whether it's going to be a...
