Re: Internal Thread Creation in Drawing Impossible to Define
Thanks guys, followed advice as suggested, not using the internal line to thread conversion, instead using the thread draw option - which got me to where I needed to be. Cheers, Graeme

Re: Internal Thread Creation in Drawing Impossible to Define
Hi Martin, Just spent more time trying various configurations of tooling and drawing - feeling a little exasperated; could you kindly confirm that you have successfully created in internal thread using Quickturn 2d yourself eg with the 'line to thread conversion' option. If this is the case could yo...

Is this a known program bug/limitation or could you kindly point me in the right direct...

270 pro. is stopping mid cycle
Hi, I'm having a problem with my machine which had been getting steadily worse over the last month or so; it now stops after the first G00 instruction, everytime, which means that the machine can't be used in audio mode. However, it works fine in manual mode. Hope you can help! Thanks, Graeme.

Hi, I've been through the process of reinstalling software but I'm still having a problem with my 270pro stopping mid cycle; sometimes at the start of an instruction occasionally mid instruction eg z or x axis movement. It also doesn't always locate tool one when changing tools on the turret; this a...

Turn270 Installing of VR Turn on windows 8
Have downloaded on windows 7 with no problems before; when using windows 8, installation looks for some files which are in the correct locations but says it can't find them. Anyone any thoughts?

Vacum pad remains on!
Has anyone a solution to turning off the vacum pad? When the programme has finished I press the green lit button to deactivate the pad but there is no response; instead, the two methods that turn the pad off involve having to rehome all axis or use the emergancy off button; methods that i'm not comf...

Re: 270 lathe tool change command results in ...silence
Thanks Martin, Steve and Admin, Well, the correct machine was selected but by changing the Tool Post, Auto changer option from 1 to 6, as suggested, the turret responded to manual and programme commands. Re: 270 lathe tool change command results in ...silence
Hi Bradders,
I opened the machine settings option using `denny` and it showed the 270pro option auto expanded then 'tool change' showed 1,8,8. Although i uninstalled previous version of vr turn before reinstslling i dont recall specifically selecting the pro.
Cheers, graeme

Re: Quickcam Pro - creating machine code.
Hi, Sorry for what is probably a basic question, but could you kindly bullet point the stages required to transfer the code from a planned and saved bitmap image within quickcampro to vr milling program? I'm either expecting the imposible or missing the obviouse.
Many thanks, Graeme
