they weren't all used on the original stepper we checked

Is the stepper full of coolant. stepper was an exact match for the original one that came with it tom and didn't no...

Re: replacement x stepper motor help

As I don't know the spec of the current strippers in the triac at the moment it's very to buy a new one.

Anyone got any thoughts on if this is a suitable replacement

MY34HY0-5

Measurement wise it looks the same as current

Re: replacement x stepper motor help

It's proving very hard to get a suitable replacement, current shaft is 9.5mm all New nema 34's are 12-13mm

Can anyone help, does anyone have a triac stepper spare?

Need one urgent

If I get a bigger shaft then the cogg/pulley won't fit

Re: replacement x stepper motor help

Sadly it is yes.

With just a light bit of pressure on the cog it's stalling so it needs to be replaced :(

Re: Starmill RPM

I haven't no, at some point I want to do a mach3 conversion and add spindle feedback.

I'll have to get a tacho and see.

But as the label on the side of the cabinet reads this doesn't seem these as other starmills

Starmill RPM

got a starmill with atc and the label on the side is different to the one I have without an atc. the motor on this one reads 0.6hp and 0.5kw the info sheet for starmill say max of 4000rpm but the denford software installed on the computer with this starmill says 5500rpm. anyone shed any light on this?
