Re: 2600 Pro keeps stopping!

Hi. I took your advice and removed the USB connectors located on the side of the machine out of the equation, the USB cables now go directly from the PC into the internal USB connectors inside the machine. Since I have done this the machine has worked without problems. The only drawback is that I no...

Re: 2600 Pro keeps stopping!

Correction - The error message that is actualy displayed reads "The Device Driver Call Failed" if this helps. There is no error code number generated.

2600 Pro keeps stopping!

The router has been playing up for some time with various incarnations of a similar problem. Re: Thought I would try some lithophanes

Those look great! I've often thought about making a frame for them but never got round to it...are they slotted or did you just stick the lithophane to the back face? Thanks. The Dyson frame is made from solid oak, machined from both sides. The acrylic ones are slotted together using an interferenc...

Prototype of trophy

Hi. Just thought I'd post a picture of a project I'm working on. We will be having our student awards ceremony at the end of April here at the NSSC. We like to give our winning students some sort of gift to mark their achievement. Other years we have purchased small gifts but money is tight so I was...

Re: Back lash Compensation?

Hi Steve. Thanks for your reply. I have checked the toothed drive belt is located on the pulleys (can't see them under the cover but can feel them). I have removed, cleaned and lubricated the anti backlash nuts which attach the leg to the lead screw. I have not been able to locate the castle nut on ...

Back lash Compensation?

Hello. I have noticed that our 2600 Pro has some back lash present on the X axis. I have attached a DTI to the bed and taken some readings X Error of 0.12mm Y Error of 0.08mm Z Error of 0.02mm The X axis error is so bad that you can see it by eye when you jog the machine using the 0.1mm setting! Is ...

Hi. Thanks for your quick reply. When I try to create an NC cutter path in DeskProto it outputs it in an ISO file format. DeskProto

Hello. I have been trying to use some software called DeskProto with our 2600 Pro. It allows the addition of support lugs to an STL file so when you machine one side of your model you can then turn the billet over and machine from the other side clamping on the outside of the billet while the suppor...
