It's been a while but if you have still not resolved this issue check the following.
On the spindle drive are 4 dip switches s1 to s4. You will probably find that they have been set to the wrong feedback range.
e.g. if they are set s1-on, s2-off this is 25-50V range, by changing this to s1-off, s2 ...

Does anyone have electrical drawings for a Triac PC manufactured in 2000. I have downloaded a couple from 1999, they are numbered TR6-m01 and TR6-m11 so presume the series runs from TR6-m01 up. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, Thanks for that, have downloaded manual, will have a read. Meanwhile I have worked out most keypresses but I cannot find the spindle start key? Any ideas, perhaps a combination of keys.

LED status is the same as original post, it was only the .GO file that needed editing. I do not have the Desktop Tutor Keypad and am slowly working out the key mapping for QWERTY, has anyone worked this out already?

Have solved the problem. The "fanucsld.go" file was set up for a keypad, edited file to use keyboard. Thought I would post this for info.

I have a Starturn 5 lathe with comms problem. When I run Fanucsld the software hangs. The LCB3 board powers up OK and the led's marked LED1,LED2,RLED3 light up, is this normal indication?

I have tried adjusting the pot and I can get the spindle turning at a fixed speed from 0-max but only by adjusting this pot I have no software control apart from stop and start. The speed override has no effect either.
Any other ideas or should I just keep adjusting the pot a bit at a ...

Have now swapped the spindle drive for a known good one, no difference. Put the spindle drive from the faulty machine in another lathe, worked fine no problems so drive is OK.
Back to the faulty machine,there was no output from the Control board pins 1&2 so as suggested looks like faulty control ...

Just an update, when the spindle does turn I am getting 0.2V pins 2&3 and 2V pins 8&9.
