I have been offered a zero turn lathe, but ask if this is more powerful than the cyclone I owned. Looks to me that both have a 5 hp main motor ?
Also, it's says it's a slant bed, but compared to my cyclone, it doesn't look the same layout. Bob

Re: zero turn lathe
the cyclone usually has a 3hp spindle motor, and as stated before is less substantial than the zeroturn.

Photo won't load, I'll try again
Re: zero turn lathe
Seems my cyclone spec plate was stamped wrong. Says main motor was 5hp, but beside that it says 2.2kw, which converts to 3hp, which is as rightly pointed out on one reply. Thanks.
