Possibly a very naive question, but hey I'm new to this!

New to the Forum and all things CNC so be gentle!

I have got myself a Triac Fanuc OM-C. It is three phase which I don't have so I was planning to run it off an inverter - no surprises there.

However, I was feeling brave the other day and opened up the back of the electrical cabinet and saw this sticker on one of the boards hinting that a 240V supply could also .

Now I don't have a manual for the machine so cannot refer to it as instructed so thought I would ask the learned brethren on here if it is possible to "adjust" the wiring so it can run off a single phase supply? If so would it be a 13A plug or something meatier?

All help greatly appreciated!

Charlie.

No, the unit in the picture is the spindle drive which is 240 volts but the axis drives will be 220 volts 3 phase. The coolant pump may also be 3 phase.

OK, so I have been researching inverters and to be frank I am totally confused. Has anyone run a 3 phase triac successfully off an inverter? What single phase current draw am I looking at? I am limited to 20A at present unless I upgrade the supply to the garage which I would rather avoid, even if it means not using the full power of the machine.

So, based on the info in the photo below, can anyone point me at a suitable product?

Also, can I please ask for the build sheet if it exists in the depths of the Denford archives?

Thanks in advance.
