Help with Tapmatic Tapping Head

just received this bad boy -

im a little clueless on how to use it, i cant even find a manual for it online anywhere.

ive got a triac vmc which runs on mach3

anyone offer any advice for getting this up and running?

I think the key to that bad boy will be to make something to hold the arm bit on the side, to stop it all rotating.
After that I'd just stick it in and start the spindle off slowly.
Some of these devices will slip if the tap gets stuck.
It'll probably use upwards pressure on the tap to start the tap spinning CW and will then swap to CCW when you start to pull up out of the hole.
Try spinning it slowly and feeding Z down to a block of wood and see what happens when you start pushing the tool end up.

It is also worth noting that most of these units reverse at 2 or 3 times the in feed speed.
