can you convert dos to v5 milling

new cnc. ive been reading the forum for a few days now.trying find out how to get some information on starmill. running on dos no luck up to now
the problem all i get initialising mint3.28. it starmill seriel no 30217 a march1993

What version is the Eprom?

The Eprom is the chip on the baldor control board inside the electrical cabinet.

ive been looking again mint 3/282 vi.05/s/kc.16 i think have been looking at the right part

Ok, So it is a Dos chip,


It would upgrade to VRMilling but you would have to contact Sales for a price.

Have you looked through other posts on the forum.

From memory you may need to run through dosbox if it is a fairly new Windows operating sytem.
