Seeking lubrication clarity

In the VMC 1300 Pro CNC Milling Machine User’s Manual
Page 41
12: Lubrication Chart says:
Machine Ballscrews with grease gun Every 3 Months
Machine Slideways Every 6 Months
...
Axis Bearings Apply by Syringe Every 12 Months

Then there are photos pointing out for example, Four lubrication points for the "X axis bearings" and one point for the X axis ballscrew are located at the sides of the machine saddle.

This is a bit confusing, because of the term "X axis bearings". I assume the photos showing the X axis lubrication points above are pointing out the one Machine Ballscrew and the four Machine Slideways per the table, and that the "axis bearings" that should be lubricated every 12 months are rotating bearings somewhere else.

thanks!

Its not easy to see so took some photos from machine assemblies. The bearings are in the same place by the motor mounts.

Thanks Steve. So there is one "axis rotary bearing" per axis and it's an unshielded ball bearing at the far end of the mount from each axis motor. That should be a fun task to access those with a syringe!

They will be packed from new and will probably last for years without lubrication.
