Viceroy gearbox

Hi All
Through a process of trial and error I proved my logic correct. The 16t gear is position 5 on the gear selector lever.
To do this I had to remove the gear train to see what the 32T wheel meshed with. It does in fact mesh solely with a wheel on the back shaft that has the sliding wheels for the "left middle right " lever and its purpose (I assume) is to add stability to the gear train shaft at its extremity.
It is all back together now after a good clean and a "tickle" with a smooth file.
