Hi does anyone have either the specs for a tool or one I could borrow to re calibrate the focus/bed height on a VL300.
I'm in the UK.
Long story short, I got hit by a car, off work 6months, technician un aware of the importance of seating the honeycomb bed properly. Since the cone drove itself into the bed the laser won't cut through anything on 1st pass.
We do have the tool somewhere but a lot has been moved about in my absence and the other staff are all saying they haven't seen it. We have never needed to use it before. I am wondering if the screw shafts that raise and lower the bed are driven via a toothed belt and if it may have skipped a tooth or two so the bed is at a slight angle as it does seem to cut ok to the right hand side of the bed.
Cheers
Pete
