Help needed Triac ATC

Post by macht1 » Tue 30 Jan , 2007 3:17 am

I just bought a 1990 Denford Triac ATC serial# E03743 and I keep getting a tool changer error. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it. Does the PC have to be hooked up to the machine to run it. Any manuals will help it did not come with any. So I'm guessing at all of it.

The triac has been made in many forms a photo of the machien would help!

The toolchanger is controlled by PLC logic within the machine tool control and this will require air to drive the cylinders operating the toolchanger.

You will need air connected to the machine.

There are several pictures of machines on the forum and also several manuals in PDF format.

A manual could possibly be purchased contact Denford Inc for this.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

Yes - all later Denford machines require a PC to make anything move on the machine (not sure about older 80's 90's machines)
UNLESS its a Fanuc control.

re the manual - i have found a large PDF Triac manual and will be putting it in the downloads section today :D
