Triac at work video

Post by Triac whizz » Mon 22 Jan , 2007 22:12 pm

Just for giggles I've uploaded a video of my Triac hammering a 18mm U drill through ali at 3500rpm and 200mm/min, the vid goes on and shows the whole job, there's no interval for popcorn & ice cream I'm afraid :)

Nice video.

Is that a stepper or a servo machine? Original controls or a retrofit?

When I get a min will post some vids of the starturn at work.

Cheers

Dave

Fanuc controls - out of the box as it left Denfords, give or take a few parameter changes :)

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

It's a bearing block see viewtopic.php?t=342 the thingys on the right

Guarding? It's all there - for what its worth but it was down for the video and I can't put it right up when I have a vice on the table - and wellies are obligatory when using suds! Is there something missing then? perhaps a cagoule?
