New Triac owner!

Post by Hyrum » Fri 28 Aug , 2015 5:08 am

I just bought a Triac PC on ebay- not too sure what I'm in for. I'll be combing the forum for jewels of information but if anybody has any tips please let me know.

Thanks!

My machine arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, it is a little banged up and the box with the software manuals and cables is missing.

From reading on this board it seems I need to use the old dos software. The oldest computer I have is a laptop running windows xp. Can I use DosBox or windows xp dos mode or do I need a real copy of dos?

FanucMD?

Triac?

Industrial Editor?

Any others?

Can anyone tell me how these programs are used to run a Triac P.C.? FanucMD does not connect. Not sure if the Tiac software actually controls the machine or is just a simulator.

Any help would be nice.

Thanks,
Hyrum
