Socket pinout and sensor voltage

Post by funkstar » Sat 15 May , 2010 13:50 pm

Hi All
I´m finally getting to converting my 86 Triac to Mach3. Now, I intend to have the machine intact and just rebuild the electronics. The best way would be if I could just use the socket from the machine and connect to my new controlling system. I have done some searching here but I cant find the pinout from the socket. Is there anyone that can help me with this (the sockets on the picture just for clarification).
And if someone know the type of socket and from were I can buy it too, that would be even better..

Next question, does someone know what voltage the inductive sensors run on (agin the sensor on the picture for clarity)?

Thanks, Per

(selling my complete PNC3 system in the classifieds..)

i think the home sensors are 12v (correct me if i'm wrong), and if you trace back either side from the socket you'll see what the cables connect to. The cables are colour coded so you'll see where they're going. If you need any help i can help identify wires over the phone.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

I've moved some of the manuals into the Triac section now (they appear at the top)
This one could contain the connector info you're after:
