Upgrades for Older Triac PC w/AT

Post by bl75vette » Mon 25 Feb , 2008 22:07 pm

I have a Triac PC with an eight station tool changer and would like to know if there are any upgrades that would work with this machine. It was purchased 3/96. Ser. # EO4723. I use Inventor 11 software to create the part/mold and then import it into MasterCam X to set the tool paths and create the NC code. I upgraded the CNC tutor mill control in 2001. I have been browsing this forum and noticed discussion about stepper performance and replacing the conrol card. I have had a few jobs that my students were running and all of a sudden the machine goes haywire and starts cutting in its own way, destroying the project. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have checked the serial No of your TRIAC PC ATC and it has a EUROSTEP Iss 4 card in it. This will enable the machine to be upgraded to our lastest VR Milling Ver 5 which has USB connectivity so you may need to upgrade your PC as well.

Note ! With VR Milling Ver 5 you can import DXF, DWG and GERBER (PCB Cutting Files)

May I suggest you contact Denford Icn for further information and prices
