Low Lube

Post by rasp » Wed 06 Feb , 2008 18:55 pm

Hi All,

I am new to the forum so if I get something wrong let me know.

I have just got a Triac VMC circa 2000 with servo drives, the problem is that I have a low lube warning on the screen that I can not get rid of .

The manuals I got with it don't mention this and the lube oil tank is full.

I can not get a program to run at all, is flashes executing... and then stops, is this due to the warning?

The machine has not been powered up for years so is it possible it has lost some info about the setup of the machine?

I had to reset the bios as it was all messed up.

Thanks

Rasp :?

Is the machine fitted with a toolchanger.

The software may be trying to do a toolchange.

Try removing the tool call from the program & try calling a tool manually.

Hi all,

thank you for your replies, it turned out to be the wrong version of the software, once the software was corrected all the problems vanished and the machine runs without a problem.
