Hi,
I have a Denford Triac,
I would like to use it with a 0.8 mm slot drill/end mill to cut a 0.5 mm deep feature in Silver.
My choices as I see it are,
1. Attach a fast spindle motor on the side like a die grinder
2. Change the pulley ratio on the existing spindle to increase rpm closer to desired speed.
Please if anyone has any other ideas / suggestions or can see any problems with my ideas please let me know.

Re: Denford Triac Spindle Motor
for a 0.8mm end mill you need 20,000+ RPM and that on the Triac spindle bearings is a no go they get very hot at 6000 so I would plug for a second spindle attached to a mounting off the side of the head.
