loose E stop button

Post by TDIPower » Mon 23 May , 2016 20:15 pm

hi folks, just picked up a 2003 Novamill for work, the E stop button is loose. I've not had chance to investigate further but wondered if this was a common problem/how do I tighten it up?

Cheers

You can get to the nut on the estop button if you remove the lid to the 40mm plastic trunking on the inside of the machine.

I take it that will be accessed from underneath? ill slide it to the end of the bench and have a look.

Fired it up and moved it about a bit today. nice smooth machine, doesn't seem to have the same level of Z travel as the micromill, I did read somewhere on here that someone had put a block in the raise the Z travel up.

Looking forward to running it on projects.

You get to it from above. If you look inside the cabinet behind the button you will see the 40mm square white trunking with a lid that snaps on. Just prize it up to gain access.
