Hardware/Software: My Novamill, bought in Nov 11 without electronics, is now up and running under Mach3 with a home-build control box. I'm very pleased with the machine, only project so far is correcting a cheap small machine vice originally bought for a vertical slide to use on the machine - not a right-angle in it when bought!

Does anyone have dimensioned drawings for the spindle fitting end of Easy Change toolholders please?

John.

Thanks - as they don't give dimensions they are obviously potentially easy to make!

the critical dimensions are going to be the taper diameter and the rear face of the groove.

You can buy these from J&L if you get stuck and if you look out for the discounts you can save a few bob. I think the easy change system is great but takes up a lot of room on an already limited head height machine. hence why I raised the column. There are some nice ISO30 collet holders about though.
