The Thread Cutting Package is an optional extra on the Microturn Pro.
If you have the serial number I can check was was ordered.

My serial number is EO2109, i checked the order and it shows that the thread cutting package was included. In addition, a Greek retailer, informed me that the hardware for this type of cutting is the Green component at the bottom left of this photo.

I managed to activate the encoder today.
The problem is, every time i try to cut some threads, after the machine goes to starting point in order to open the door and install the threading tool, it starts making weird and really loud noises and the cutting tool doesn't move. In the same time, the list of commands is running, as if everything is normal.
In other words, when the threading starts, the code is running just fine, and the cutting tool stays freezed and sounds like struggling to move. Every other operation is working just fine. Any ideas on how to fix that ?

We cut a test thread on each machine during inspection using the attached program. If you can try running this it may help to diagnose the problem.
Can you share the .fnl program you are using to cut the thread please.
The spindle should be running at about 400rmp when threading.
