Micromill 2000 - RS232 Error

Micromill 2000 NS

On connecting to machine, always get an RS232 error, but Lindy RS232 is connected. The green LED display shows a “2”. 1 LED lit on power card. I have replaced the 5 fuses and all appear to be ok. I have reloaded software VR CNC Milling 2.31 with no luck.

Customer checked fuse holder FS4, it was loose. Customer tightened up the fuse holder to clamp on the fuse tighter. Machine is running perfectly.

Always disconnect the power and leave the machine a few minutes before doing this.

If you then take the fuse out completely it is easy to nip the prongs together before refitting the fuse.
