Easiturn construction details and photos required please

Post by djc » Sat 07 Feb , 2009 23:28 pm

Hello.

First post here. Thanks for a great site.

I have acquired an Easiturn in pieces that I intend to rebuild to use Mach 3 and a servo-driven spindle.

Finding information on these lathes is proving quite difficult. I have only found three photos, two of which are on this forum. What I am looking for is exploded diagrams of the mechanical construction of the lathe to help me reassemble it and recreate the missing parts (eg leadscrew supports at head- and tail- stock ends).

As I understand it, if I identify the drawings required from the drawing register and ask our hosts nicely, they will post them here. Is that a correct assumption?

Would any owners be prepared to photograph their lathe and post here?

Any help, suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

I'm quite happy to scan or photograph a bunch of drawings (if I can find them). I'd just ask that you try list everything you need in one go if you can.
