Mint 3.28

Post by mike2424 » Thu 19 Sep , 2019 17:12 pm

Maybe a dumb question but my motion controller card have some corrosion and I was able to find on eBay 2 cards that are in much better shape for 50 bucks each and they are the same as far as they are D281 issue 5, the difference in the boards that I can see is the eprom chip which I can swap, but the clock speed gizmo is 12 and not 16 . Can I just swap that ? Also is there a eprom upgrade chip or does it have to be 3.28 v1.6/S-JD5 ? Thanks for any help his matter. mike

The clock speed should not effect anything.

Depending on what software you have depends on the Eprom. its will be best to use the original Eprom.
