If you have an old 'VICEROY' metal lathe, you may like to see how and where it was made from this photograph.
It dates from the late 1960's, the two lathes in the foreground are scewcutter lathes (TDS.1 LS) and the one's further back are gearbox lathes(TDS.1/1 GB).
The only fitter to be seen was called Billy Hall.
