quickcam problem? please help

quickcam problem? please help

cant get a file to convert to cam wizard, it works right up until you check outpput, then says something about the y axis somethin like move exceeds billet size yet the drawing as far as i can see is all within the billet?

can anyone help me- this is an urgent projet for school? :cry:

Are you running the latest version?

I know there were some issues with earlier versions.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

If you are talking about QuickCAM 2D Design, then

If the outside edge of the tool goes outside the billet, it will generate a warning. This is because you may be using edge clamps that would be machined in to :(

It is just a warning though - and the CNC program will still be posted out - look for untitled.fnc, or the "name of the QuickCAM project".fnc in My Documents\Denford\CNC Files
