Uneven cutting with Router 2600 Pro

Router 2600 Pro 1/4" ball nose end mill Do you know why we get this type of machine marks on the left side of our CO2 dragsters and F1 cars? It is really strange. The Pitsco blanks are off by .5mm on the 42mm width. The y-offset is ok. We have been machining the cars using 2 machining plans (raster ...

NovaTurn Z home relay

I just recieved replacement parts for the home relay and sensor.
The new relay is a MURR Art. No. 52015 and does not look like the home relay in the control box.
The sensor is a BALUFF bes517-352-no-c.
I need to know how to wire this in. Any instructions or drawings would help.
Thank You.

Thank you very much - saving the AutoCAD file as version 12 allowed the mill to see it as a DXF format -as posted on the web.

Tool does not come up between cuts

Hello,
I recently received and installed the Quickcam 2D software. The software works as expected except that it will not pick the tool up when moving between cuts like font letters and some places on graphic dxf designs. I checked the version and it seems to be the current one. I have version 1.8xxx

Autocad DXF DWG Files

Trying to run a dfx and/or dwg file that was done in Autocad in VR Milling v5.23. When the file is opened nothing shows up except the red datum lines. Is there something we are not doing in Autocad to save the files properly? The files open in Autocad. The files are attached in a zipped folder. Than...

Simulation problems

Micromill VR Milling v5.23 When running a simple hand written code we have problems with the simulation and/or the real machine. Right know the 2D/3D simulation and the real machine works, but not the Virtual machine. We get an "Arc Move Exceeds Limits" error. When we click on the "I" button, the bi...

Using ACAD 2007 LT I have tried DWG and DFX. The VR Milling v5.13 software recognizes the file, but I cannot select the units. If I switch from the simulator to the mill - "Exceeds Limits" error appears. If I go from the mill to the the simulator - "Radius Error" or "Out of Limits" Also, does PRZ ha...

Simulation Datum Position

Is it possible to change the datum position from the Left Front Corner to the Left Rear Corner in the VR Machine, 3D and 2D simulations? When I run the simulation now, I can see the tool movements in front of the billet, not on it. The program is being written by hand, not with a CAM package. Custom...

Make sure the cutter flutes are long enough for the depth of cut you are making. If the flutes are too short the shank of the tool will be forced through the wood and stall the Y axis stepper motor causing it to loose position. A flute lenght of 1.5" (37mm) works the best. Or, make two passes in Qui...

Older stepper motors prefer a slower feed rate. The Z axis was stalling on the upstoke and loosing position, driving the Z deeper into the billet. Reset the FEED rates in Machine Parameters to: Max Rate X = 500 Max Rate Y = 500 Max Rate Z = 300 Max Contour Feed = 300 Jog Rapid Feed = 300 Machine is ...

If the axis is moving slowly away from the home switch, then the home switch is stuck open. Usually just a good cleaning of the switch is all that is needed. Turn the machine off. Use a vacuum cleaner around the switch then use compressed air to blow the remaining dust and chips out from the switch....
