Re: Triac ATC component Datum

Will your fanuc take G54 or do you have to put in G92's ?? (not sure it is G92 as I have G54 available to me :) but I seem to remember you have to hack the code and add the correct offset

Having said that I can't remember the last time I started my triac..

Re: Parallel PCMCIA Card to provide additional Mach 3 I/O's

They don't work, they're not proper parallel ports, you're rather lucky that a laptop works. Usually all their built in power management stuff trips up mach.

hmmm, seems unlikely but if you thump those old keys too hard it breaks the magnetic glass encapsuled magic bit. Other than that I'm as lost as you.:?
but it's probably going to be a retro fit when you do make it go as the control is absolute rubbish compared to what we expect these days.

Nah, I thinkyou're mistaken Mr Magoo, my easiturn just had a load of slots all the same. I think the issue is speed - in this case too fast. Those 8086 computers can't count very quick

I think parajust canbe made to work, I seem to remember there was some issue with those units.... probably better off using the alivar as it's more modern you will need a speed control board (mostly likely) unless you have a board with everything on it. They're not very difficult to plumb up, gettin...
