Re: VRMilling 2.32 radius errors

I use Alphacam and have not had a problem with other machines, its the first time I have used Denford VR software so its a learning curve. I found a way round it by adjusting the post to output a G01 Xxxx Yyyy instead of a G02/3 line if the radius is smaller than 0.1mm There must be something in the...

Re: VRMilling 2.32 radius errors

I had come to that conclusion.

VRMilling 2.32 radius errors

I have been pocketing some text into perspex and the code runs fine on my Mach3 mill but when I try it on the router I get radius errors see image.

Is there a setting for minimum radius in the VR software or do I need to output to 2 decimal places or less to make it work.

Thanks

Re: Feed override stuck at 5%

I have checked the wires and they all check out fine. If I pull the two plugs from the card and check the pots they both read the same from ether outer pin and the middle pin on the pot and also at the plug ends of the cable 0 to 5k. I do not think its the pots or the cable and the wires are in the ...

Re: Feed override stuck at 5%

Hi Martin,

I have tried the tests and the feed value is not changing, the spindle is from approx 0.8?? to 52.??? but the feed is fixed. I checked the wires into the card and they seem sound.

Thanks

Re: Feed override stuck at 5%

Hi Martin, no my card has the green LED and I have tried that and checked the pots and if I change them round in the inputs nothing changes apart from the other pot changes the spindle speed which tells me the pots are working but the input is not, new pots made no change. Swapping the lower card fo...

Feed override stuck at 5%

My router has VR2.32 software and works just fine apart from I have to use the on screen override for the feed because if I enable the one on the cabinet in the config the feed is fixed at 5%. I have tried a new pot and have swapped the feed and speed pots over and it is stuck at 5%. As a last resor...

Wanted - Triac with BT30 ATC - NOT Fanuc control

The title says it all really but here goes anyway.

I am looking to buy a Triac with a BT30 tool changer and any control except the Fanuc ones (way to expensive if things fail) any condition any age considered.

Thanks
I await all your offers.

Regards
Graham

Re: TU150U in need of TLC

Things have moved on a bit in the last few weeks. The spindle cooling fan was duff so a new fan and mounting had to be made. The spindle is now running sweet up to about 4800rpm but I have restricted it to 3500 which is the max for my chuck. Axis motors are in and tuned to 15000mm/min rapid. Turret ...

Re: TU150U in need of TLC

Its starting to go back together. I am not going mad with it so some parts are just cleaned and checked and refitted. After all its going to be used. Bed shimmed to base. New spindle bearings for a start. New keep plates and Turcite facings. Swarf chip area and fluid run off tank coated in rubber pa...

Re: Parameters and Diagnostics?

Hi, Fanuc Parameters are settings that allow the functions built into the control to be adjusted to match the requirement of your machine For example parameter #1850 is to set the grid shift distance Diagnostics are to allow you to check if something happened, so when the machine homes a diagnostic ...

Re: TU150U in need of TLC

I can not believe what a mess this machine is in, what ever has been cut in it has turned the coolant to acid and stripped the paint off it just like Nitromors would. Everything is covered in a thick paste like gloop that stinks and sticks like s..t to a blanket. The chap I got it from said he had b...
