Re: Cyclone Home problem still

Hi Bob Couple of points to always remember with the Fanuc OT control, ALWAYS leave the turret OFF the Home position when you shut down, I always wind the X and Z axis well away from the "stops" when shutting down for the night. Should always be at least 40mm away from home. Also always turn the feed...

Re: Memory problems

BTW, do you have any idea why it didn't like 320M? I put 128k of additional memory in, thats right isnt it? 128Kb (320 Metres) is the maximum memory for a Fanuc O (M or T) series control, that`s all the system will run, there is usually 4K available by default on the main board and 4 spaces for the...

Re: Triac Work offset problem

The problem being that if i set G54 in the program and set No00 to x-50 it will move to x-50. as it should and treat it as a work offset which is good. Now if i put g55 and no01 to x-100. the machine goes to x-50 That would explain things then Rob if you dont class No 00 as an offset........ :lolol...

Re: Triac Work offset problem

No idea what the other 1 in the string might be as I don`t have the list of 900 parameters for that particular machine, they are all "options" to with what is set to be available to that machine control to use. If there are no other suggestions then probably best to only try changing the second from...

Can anyone recommend a free DNC program suited to the Fanuc and preferably Heidenhain controllers please. Re: Cyclone alarm 416

Hi Rob Thanks for the photos. My mistake, Z axis, it is the plug in the first or top picture. Interesting that your plug is angled upwards, as opposed to my one, which points downwards, so the cable drags itself along the bottom of the machine, probably causing the problem I experience. I think I w...

Rob I have tried to attach the post file that I have but the forum will not let it upload , the errors that I get are not the obvious ones that you would get i.e. % that is all in place what seems to happen is that all the code at the begining of my programs is wrong and the Cyclone will not accept...
