You need to reinstall the printer. The software is designed to run on a stand alone machine with the laser set as the default printer. Try the "T test" .

Power up the control then press "T" on the opperators pannel.

It will tell you at the bottom of the screen which overtravel is active & will show when it is clear.

You can then try moving the X axis away by turning the stepper motor pulley.

Is the machine fitted with a toolchanger.

The software may be trying to do a toolchange.

Try removing the tool call from the program & try calling a tool manually.

Check that the lids are fitted the correct way round inside both draws.

There is a cut out on one side of the lid that needs to be towards the back.

Check for Backlash in the relevent axis as well.

The drawing is for the external lead. PC to electrical box.

As long as you wire the connections as shown it will be correct.

Hi, The Datum\Home sensor is located directly behind the spindle motor. If you stand directly behind the machine & look between the motor & colum you will see the proximity detector. (8mm thread). It all depends on the version of windows you are running from.

Try booting the pc straight into Dos (Think it`s F8 while booting) or using a Dos emulator.

What is the version of the Eprom on the Control card?(Left hand card in rack).

What version of Triac software are you using?

Have you tried plugging in to both Com 1 & Com 2?

Have you tried booting the PC directly into DOS or running in a DOS emulator window?
