Sounds like the NVMEM (Non Volatile Memory) is corrupted. Try connecting to the machine with Workbench.

Yes you can upgrade from a 30 Watt laser cartridge to a 50 Watt Laser cartridge, but we have found the price for doing so a lot more expensive than just replacing the 30 Watt with a 30 Watt.

Re: Setting the focal height
Hi, The best way to get back fully operational would be to purchase an engraving table and focal height tool, though i suspect the cost may be a little off putting. The focal height is set with the Focus tool sitting on the engraving table. The engraving table is 1/8" thick and when i have measured ...

Iron Man,
Condition, age and usage would be my prime concerns before purchase. If you are concerned about Z axis travel on the Novamill then go for the Triac. Work that will fit on a Triac may not fit on a Novamill.

Re: which is the best gcode software for vrmilling
Private individuals can purchase Denford software.
Quickcam Pro can import, .STL, JPG, JPEG, BMP etc but you cannot draw / design in it, it converts the files to a G and M code program that will run on VR Milling that controls your machine.
