The billet has to be positioned on the machine table and the offsets have to be set for the Virtual Machine, just like in using the real machine. When using the Virtual machine, click on the Setup tab, Default Billet Size. Here you can define the size of the billet and the position on the table. You...

Microturn 2000 Cable
All microturns circa 2002 were shipped with the standard RS232 (25 to 9 pin) cable in USA. If you purchased these machines from someone with larger lathes or mills, they may have inadvertently given you the 25 to 25 pin "fanuc" cable. You can 1) make your own RS232 cable 2) purchase from Denford Inc...

Noticed that the Y-Axis was not homing. Table moves slowly away from the home switch, new sealed home switches installed on all 3 axis. Upon inspection, the wire on one of the push-on spade connectors for the Y axis home switch was broken at the crimp joint. A new connector was installed on the wire...

Control card not difficult to install if that is all you are replacing. You may need about 250-300 VA transformer for the new control cards, not sure what transformer you currently have in your machine. This will take some rewiring.

I have the Mill CAM 2.13 registration disk so I can use that, but I can
not use the VR CNC Milling for Windows as it requires the Dongle.
Is the control card hard to install. And will I have to upgrade the
transformer to use it?
