I have recently converted my easiturn. Initially I used an old vesion of mach 3 ( 1.84 ish ) and the spindle speed was ok then when I was getting the turret working I changed to a newer version and got the same problem that you have. I think this is a bug that they have fixed or are fixing if I have...

Hi I have used 1000 steps per mm Based on 10 microstep drives for both X & Z. The thing that confused me was that I had heard that the leadscrew is metric and the cross slide imperial. Anyway that works for me. I also have scanned my wiring diagram of the auto changer and if Denford give their permi...

Easiturn ballscrew pulleys

Hi
I am in the process of converting my easiturn to mach 3 and need to work out the pully ratios for the lead screw and cross slide. Does anybody know what they are? or better still have figures for the steps per unit in mach.
Many thanks.

I use the Easichange system avilalble from J&L the collet chucks are ER32. I have tried these in a Denford fitting and they are the same taper. Also available are drill chuck mounts with a JT6, endmill holders and a threaded boring head mount.

Easiturn tool offsets

Hi I have an easiturn PNC3 which is connected to a PC via a data link cable however when I save a program no tool offsets are saved. The manual says that if programs are saved to microtape then this information is saved. Is there any way of keeping the tool offsets either in the machine or on the PC...
