You're right - the example seems to be suggesting G92 is modal - ie, all subsequent lines will carry out a G92 until another G code (eg G0/G1) is programmed

I'll report it as either an error in the example, or a bug in the software.

Have you checked the spindle speed with an external tachometer?

I never managed to make much progress with my enquiry as Denford couldn't provide any prices or information regarding the modification.

This is still something I would like to do and I will probably try again once I have completed converting the machine to Mach.

This conversion has been super easy. I will do a full write up soon once it's all finished.
