Really nice project!
Where in Sweden do you live? I live about 50km from Halmstad. Are the old parts for sale? I don´t have the same servo cards, but you might have some useful parts.
How much does the conversion cost?

Re: Cyclone TU150U Won't start up
Hello! I haven´t used mine in a long time, and the last time one om my servos didn´t start so I´m pretty irritated on mine  It´s a computer that has to start, it´s good to have an external keyboard (a really old one with the giant round contact), that you can attach on the side where the flopp...

Re: USB Floppy emulator on my TU150U
I sold an overlay last year to someone here, the shipping was about £5 to GB so I asked for £10 for one overlay. I can send two overlays for £14 (I use Paypal).
Would be nice so se your machine working on Youtube

I haven´t used the machine so much, so I can´t say it´s reliable solution. But it´s has worked the times I´ve been running the machine, maybe 5 times since this thread

Re: Denford cyclone TU150E Threading problem
Maybe it´s like on my TU150U, there is a possibility to adjust the "spindle override" on the operator panel which gives a higher or lower speed. In your case it could be possible that it´s set on 140% override.

USB Floppy emulator on my TU150U
I tested the Gotek USB Floppy Emulator on my Harrison TU150U today, and got it to work. Have not done any longtime test, but it work fine tonight when I was making some test on the lathe. I tested different setups on different "floppys" on the USB-memory, and the 4th one with DOS 7.1 did work! http:...

Re: Harrison TU150U with Baldor servo
I think I got it to work decent now!! :D To get rid of the bananas-movement, I changed SLAVE_GAIN_X 1 to SLAVE_GAIN_X 0.5 and when I measured the movement, 1mm became about 1.23mm IRL, so I tested to change: SLAVE_MMCONVERT 500 to: SLAVE_MMCONVERT 410 and got a decent result!! Wihooooo! Just to lear...

Re: Harrison TU150U with Baldor servo
Actually, today I managed to get pretty far in my plan to get this machine to work again! http://tipsarn.se/bilder/170506_01.jpg But it´s a problem with PID-parameters or something like that. When using 1mm step, it goes bananas. http://tipsarn.se/bilder/170506_02.jpg Made a quick little video, show...

Re: Harrison TU150U with Baldor servo
Hello again! I bought a used servomotor from Germany and today I got a kit with some drivers and smaller servomotors from Angel-Tech here on this forum! I changed the motor a couple of weeks ago, and with my old "communication-card" in the drivers I got today, it looks like this! Really nice to see!...

Re: Harrison TU150U with Baldor servo
I took the running servo motor and connected it on the "burning position" and started the system without putting AC-power to the drivers, and the light was still red on the servodrive. It should turn green... This is the drivers, and it´s the on at the left that is bad. http://tipsarn.se/bilder/1608...

NOAIR 1 did the trick :D http://tipsarn.se/bilder/160823_03.jpg Thanks! I was able to start the spindle today and ran it at 100rpm both CW and CCW. It didn´t start yesterday because I had the door open  I was so happy to be able to got the system running yesterday so I didn´t reflect over that ...

OK, thanks!
I just have to buy a servomotor first before it´s possible to home it.

Re: Harrison TU150U with Baldor servo
Thanks! :D I found one of my old laptops, hade one with XP and diskdrive, so I created a startdiskette and put files from your Drivers2-folder and also TU150-files in the root of the diskette. And boy, this was a nice view! http://tipsarn.se/bilder/160822_01.jpg http://tipsarn.se/bilder/160822_02.jp...
