Customer had not tightened / adjusted the Z axis limit switch properly. E-Stop wires all loose as well. When we attempt to home the machine, the x,y & z numbers go up instead of down………..and the machine does not move…………we’ve vacuumed, used an air hose, etc. but still the machine doesn’t move…………….any suggestions?

Vibration and movement could be causing the cracked wire to make and break contact as it is flexing. Stepper motors rarely go bad; it is usually the wires or the control card that go.
